Its more a joke coin, not really worth anything. Sell them while the hype is here, and then when it dies off, they'll be useless again.

Its value is constantly rising, just look at the graphs, its crazy. So far its  0.000800 mBTC and up 344.4444% in the last 12 hours. They say its start is faster than any other altcoins. You can deffinitely expect profits. much profits, such monetizing, wow

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and i got a question. I just started mining dogecoins at www.doge-pool.pixub.com and getting like 800.000 dogecoins per day at a hashrate of 950kh/s.

Does anyone know the real value of the dogecoins in USD?
And when does the dogecoin goes to cryptsy?

Thanks in advance.

They said that about bitcoin too in the beginning. Value is placed on objects because the free market wants to buy, sell, and exchange. As long as that happens, coins hold value. And since dogecoin is already being bought, sold, and traded, I think your assumption of it being dead in a month is far off from reality.

HOW DARE you call much DOGe worthless?

Do you know not its current value? Just have a peek here
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-MILLION-DOGECOIN-DGC-Doge-Cryptocurrency-like-bitcoin-litecoin-dogecoins-/321274745738?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item4acd77938a

And its just been a week

Doge obviously is worthless... The only people hyping it up are the kids who have mined millions of the coins because they could easily mine 100k+ a day..
The offer on ebay is clearly fake, the trade will never go through.

It was definitely worth mining a week ago. I am not sure if this is still true now.

The value is going up, last time I saw it, it was around 12k for 0.01 BTC, and you can get that within a day with even an NVIDIA 650ti Boost. That's great considering I use Nvidia for gaming too. This coin may make me some money to put towards that special sale on PC games coming in a few days *wink* *wink*.

it's very close to zero since it doesn't differ much from the 126351 other altcoins.

Probably, remember, the price of coins does matter a bit on how good the difficulty is or how many were mined. But the most important factor for people is the demand for the coin. If there is no demand, the coin wouldn't be worth alot now.

The value is bound to increase, it's gone such viral.
You guys can still point your miners to DOGes, it's just been a week
I'm mining at http://doge.netcodepool.org and have mined around 850,000 of them.

I think is its just another pump and dump. If i had the money and know how I could create another coin, pay a bunch of people(in that new coin) to spam on forums about the new coin so everyone will get onboard and when it is at a certain point sell or'dump' every single coin. That is how millionaires are made. Though if someone offered free doge coins i wouldn't say no Smiley but investing in it .. nah.

LOL, lot of butthurt altcoiners trying to piss on DOGE's massive popularity in order to protect their precious coins.... DOGE has everything that Bitcoin has and is more popular than Litecoin now... It's just been a week and look at it's reach... DOGE defenitely gonna be either second coin to Bitcoin or on par with Bitcoin.... DOGE just repeats most of the Bitcoins release.... most fools considered Bitcoin as joke back in the day too... This is still early times, hop on the train while you can guys... or you defenitely gonna regret it, more than missing the Bitcoin train...
