That's due to the fact that people believe that most coins don't bring nothing new to the table. But most coins don't do that, and that isn't the main purpose anyway. In the coming months we will see which coins end up on top. It might be the best technologically advanced one, or it might be a joke one. It doesn't matter what people say regarding scams.
