Have you actually read the article? A partner i.e. customer of Google, is accepting bitcoins for Google Apps. This is nothing to do with Google itself.

This is completely misleading. As the guy above said, it's not Google, it's some using Google App Engine.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

The whole article makes no sense. iBeacon is not even a currency.
