The Skip James Blues Collection
Publisher: Hal Leonard Corporation
ISBN-10: 0793570433

http://www.amazon.com/Skip-James-Blues-Collection/dp/0793570433

I don't know what the deal is with Amazon listing those ridiculous prices for used copies, but I am not interested in the physical book, or paying those kind of prices.

I will send you 0.04 BTC (about $35 worth at current rates) upon receipt of:

A COMPLETE, LEGIBLE, HIGH-RESOLUTION SCAN of this book, in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format.

This book has been out of print for many years and I have been searching unsuccessfully for a copy for a long time.  I'm hoping my bits may help lubricate the gears of commerce here.

I don't give a shit if this deal breaks some kind of copyright legislation because I would happily pay the publisher to print me a copy, if they could be bothered.

Good luck and thanks!

Not sure if they have it in stock, but after a cursory glance round the net, I found: http://www.penders.com/c/1881/p/11099000/skip-james-blues-collection?osCsid=4r29c3it71nssdllud1vfpnq10 for just short of $17.

Hey, thanks for the idea, but I inquired and:

Quote
Thank you for your inquiry.  Unfortunately the piece you've requested is
permanently out of print & no longer available.  We will update our website
to reflect this change.

There are a lot of little music shops (and big) out there that MIGHT have this, but I've given up long ago trying to go that route.  It's been out of print for a while, and probably wasn't that popular to begin with.

That's why I think the best route now might be to find some random person who can make me a copy of theirs, or can track it down in a library or something.

Offer rescinded.  I've given up and decided to pay up for a used copy from Amazon.
