The fact that you managed to send your ETH from your current version of Mist leads me to suspect that Keystore
you are currently using is correct, and that Mist not being cooperative is more likely the problem.
The fact that the problem with your mist is highly likely this one ^^^
If you don't have the backup privatekey to your keystore it is impossible to retrieve your ETH/Token in your address.
I have the Keystore.. just like the guy in the post above I don't recognize the address at all, but the same password I used for the other wallet works on this one..
There's a lot of reasons why you have a different address instead of your own, and probably you didn't update to the latest version of mist or perhaps your personal computer is fully associated with a lot of trojan.
Why don't you try to use the method of the reddit OP to send his 8 remaining ETH to his address.
The only problem he hasn't solved yet is how in the hell he can't send his Token.
