I've been mining for a while now and I'm also sysadmin on a few other pools from other people. To make this experience useful, I have started my own AlphaCoin mining pool.
It's cloud based and monitored, so very stable. Also this makes it possible to add resources, so when there are a lot of miners it won't be slow as some other pools.
It has PPLNS, VARDIFF, just 1% fee (to pay for the cloud hosting) and even a block finder reward! You can sign up at
