What companies have mining equipment in stock that you know of?  I remember when you could get the USB bitfury for $200 and the USB Asic 300+mhs for $10.  Who has a bulk buy going on for something, just like the cheap asics or something so that we can go back to giving them as gifts to those interested in Bitcoin, and what would ultimately help the Bitcoin Network?

Otherwise what companies have rigs on hand that you guys are aware of?  Thanks!

In stock? That's not how these companies work unfortunately .... its all pre-orders, normally with vague delivery dates.

When companies take preorders or deposits,it means they are using your money to pay there staff and also buy parts, thats how buisness works.

That's how ASIC mining companies work. Most companies actually have stock of things they are selling ready to deliver. And if they don't have stock, they have definite dates for when new stock will come in. Chalk and cheese I'm afraid.

Exactly...I know for a fact that companys don't work that way otherwise they would never make any money if they didn't have items available for people to purchase.

Thanks empoweoqwj, I agree, that's how 'mining' companies work.  I have my own company and it's very few items that I have to go to my supplier to get materials that aren't on hand at the time of an order.  But that's why I was asking about what companies you guys knew of, or what bulk orders are going on.

I know that those little 300+ asics and bitfurys wound up being available in such a quantity that they were being sold for cheap.  Obviously not the same anymore and may not be until the Terrahash miners come out, but that's what my question was pertaining to.  So there are no group buys going on, or companies with items in stock that you guys are aware of?

Superduh-megabitpower is a site?  Thanks for the reply

That's today. So you are saying they are in stock. So why the 2/3 week delivery time?

All the website says is:

"Website is due to launch very very soon.

Please signup to our newsletter and keep up to date: http://eepurl.com/KM9w1"

Doesn't exactly inspire confidence does it.

Your right.  Just that most people have been keeping up with the link I pasted.  I assume most know.  My bad I suppose.
