Some times you need access to your dApps on the go. So we built our most popular dApp, the Node Staking Platform directly into our mobile wallet. You can now setup lending contracts as well as remove existing ones.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

The latest update (Codename: Kepler) is production ready, Kepler Combined IPFS, ethoFS & Geth into one binary. It also allowed us to simplify the installation/upgrade process. We're still testing the RPM scripts and they should be ready by tomorrow however our Debian users can start upgrading from today using the following instructions:

Code:
# Login to your VPS under your sudo user
# Run the commands below

wget https://github.com/Ether1Project/ether1-node-scripts/releases/download/V1.4.1/upgrade-debian.sh

chmod +x upgrade-debian.sh

./upgrade-debian.sh

Today we're launching our very first cross chain bridge between Ether-1 & xDAI. We chose xDAI first as they have extremely cheap gas fees (1-2 GWEI), it's pegged to $1 and because they have a very promising fork of Uniswap available called Honeyswap which is managed & run by the 1Hive team.

Our Contract details on xDAI are as follows:
Token Address on xDai: https://blockscout.com/poa/xdai/address/0xB17d999E840e0c1B157Ca5Ab8039Bd958b5fA317/transactions
Token Name (from contract): Wrapped ETHO
Token Decimals (from contract): 18
Token Symbol (from contract): ETHO

You can find the bridge available at: https://honeyswap.ether1.org/
Our Honeyswap pair can be found at: https://info.honeyswap.org/pair/0x1b988C21bc7E920A13dC0C96C616bAAb3D678d47

We have applied to be added to their main token list.

This comes as part of the effort to increase interoperability between the various EVM chains out there. We plan on bridging to more chains in the future.

We're also currently testing the ability to hold your node collateral on any chain we're bridged to.

We have deployed secondary gateway for ethoFS which has SSL enabled by default, see: https://ipfs.gravityenterprises.co.za/ipfs/QmX8E3MEhCwmKQ5k1SBfMvnCDQdummkNPhJ7FMKXeS3bJK/ as an example.

This comes as part of our effort to create a system where users will be able to deploy their own SSL certs for their own TLD.
If you'd like to access your content via this gateway you can do so by placing the IPFS hash after https://ipfs.gravityenterprises.co.za/ipfs/

If you want SSL on your own TLD please reach out to us and we can make an arrangement

The development roadmap is clear, I like projects with specific plans. Many existing projects have roadmaps but don't have exact milestones, it's just symbolic.

Hello everyone

We have deployed our own ETHO to ETH network bridge at https://eth.ether1.org/

You can now move your ETHO between networks with the bridge by swapping your ETHO to our wrapped ETHO token on the ethereum network. We have also deployed two liquidity pools on Uniswap so you can begin utilizing swaps or by contributing to liquidity pools.

The following liquidity pools for ETHO have been deployed:

ETHO/ETH
https://info.uniswap.org/pair/0x5886c7617b06b710b1333814e4e5476eb2ff6926

ETHO/USDT
https://uniswap.info/pair/0x97F7a5b27b03EDf825fA948f10237d8E35765B91

Please share your experiences with us as you use the bridge and uniswap as we will be developing some additional docs/instructions on how to use over the next few days.

Hello everyone!

The etho.black core team currently has several projects underway including revamping all our our UIs & front ends, our next major ethoFS/node release codenamed Atlas, continued work on-boarding decentralized applications to ETHO along with several potential partnerships in the works and the constant need for community expansion.
With all that work in the pipeline we are reaching out to the community for help. If you feel like you have any skills, ideas or enthusiasm you’d like to contribute to the project use the link below and tell us what you can/want to do!
Anything from discord mods to testers and developers are needed so no potential contribution is too small! We look forward to hearing from anyone who would like to join us!

Hello everyone!

Etho.black has just completed and deployed an ETHO to Binance Smart Chain bridge and deployed a wrapped ETHO token on BSC along with two liquidity pools on Pancakeswap (ETHO/USDT & ETHO/BNB). Feel free to add to the liquidity pools on Pancakeswap or create your own pairs. Please provide any feedback you may have so we can continue streamlining these bridge deployments between blockchains!

Etho.Black has pushed out our test version Etho Protocol Upload App 2.0 using the newly built ethofs sdk npm module which will help us onboard more users and applications more efficiently going forward as we continue evolving toward a fully functional protocol, usable in all aspects of decentralization; from decentralized websites, DeFi and all way to NFTs. This is a critical step in testing the usability of the SDK as we re prioritize 2021 as the year of onboarding people and applications into the Etho ecosystem.

https://uploads.ethoprotocol.com/

You can test it out and report bugs at:

https://github.com/etho-black/etho-upload-app

And if you are feeling brave, I encourage you to test out the SDK. We are continuing to add more functionality to the module as testing progresses allowing for a broader range of applications and usability.

https://www.npmjs.com/package/@ethofs/sdk

An interesting metric to watch is the sdk module download stats as more and more begin to utilize  the protocol.
