Best alternative to BitCoin mining?

What have some of you guys found to be the best alternative to gaining bitcoins other than mining? I've tried CAPTCHA's but those take too long and don't yield much.

Have you considered Altcoin mining? If you have a decent AMD graphics card, a profit switching pool like Middlecoin, Multipool, or Hashcows can make you a pretty good amount of BTC. They mine Altcoins and then auto trade them to Bitcoins.
