Looking for a little bit of help on compiling bfgminer on debian.

I am running
Code:
Linux bamt-miner 2.6.32-5-686 #1 SMP Mon Jan 16 16:04:25 UTC 2012 i686 GNU/Linux

I cloned the git repo ran ./autogen.sh and ./configure

Configuring results with uthash-dev not being found, but it clearly is installed. Any suggestions?

Code:
configure: error: Could not find HASH_ITER - please install uthash-dev 1.9.4+

root@bamt-miner:/opt/miners/bfgminer/bfgminer# apt-get install uthash-dev

uthash-dev is already the newest version.
