Why is it everyone wants to post FREE BITCOINS in faucets!!! But the pay out is equal to maybe 1 cent USD for wasting hours upon hours tryin to read the capthchas, you have to read 500,000 capthchas to get 0.01 BTC totally not worth the time You may as well walk around your town looking for change on the ground. The sites listed in these faucets want you to have a certain amount to payout and who says they will still be around tommorow.

They've been sucky since I joined (back in March) and they probably suck even more now!  I haven't gone back to them in a while.

There are only a couple faucets worth even entering the captcha.  The best way to get free bitcoin in my opinion is to do the little activites for microbtc like bitcoinget

They exist primarily because the faucet owners make more money than they give away in minuscule amounts of bitcoin. Smiley

I think this may be a hindrance to bitcoin in general. We are familiar with quantities of 1000s or even millions/billions...less so milli, micro etc. It's also pretty lame to spend all this money and get a single "coin" psychologically.

Well that's right but whatdo you expect? They pay you that 0.01 cent for free (at least for entering a captcha).
Generally they make there money from advertisement sales and high traffic,if they pay every one of those "high traffic" they would be paying more than what advertisers pay them.

Do you expect somebody to pay you 1BTC per day to solve capthchas?

Yes,the bitcoin faucets aren't to make you a lot of bitcoins so this is the situation.Maybe some of them are good, but you decide whether or not to use them.

I made 8 cents worth of bitcoin when I solved captchas, I wanted to have reason to have a wallet and see how well transfers were, now its worth like 70 cents or something, the faucet's gave me a little to play with and I came to understand wallets a little, they serve their purpose I think.

Send me a message if you need me to respond to a post, or just send me some  $ADA in an amount that will get my attention = addr1qx7g7vzjtk9mcljxjy0vnewaljk33m67d227d95rsak8mmjdq5erwjygc05l6vftwdzy9qd3t4 9spl5kw5k6684gfawqw9r87w

www.minecraftcc.com/getpaid/ - up to 0.04 BTC/week is paid out based on your gameplay.  I regularly pay 0.04 BTC to at least 20-25 players each week - it is very acheivable.

Faucets are a "joke" now when bitcoins are at $900,
but they weren't when it was at $50 level at the beginning of the year.
They operate by turning ads revenue (in dollars) into bitcoins,
if bitcoin price rises, amount of free bitcoin they give away drops.
I remember getting 0.01btc/day from visiting a handful of faucets (around march this year)
and some said they could even get 0.1btc/day by doing small tasks.

I admit faucets are running on fumes now, and we will see less and less of them in the future.

They are not joke. It's good way to get some free bitcoins, to eg. test some services that requires this coins.

Also, noone wants to give away something that can become even more valuable soon Smiley

Minimum Bitcoin transaction must be about 5500 Satoshi. This is why you need accumulate. Faucets are profitable only for bots, humans will waste a lot of time for one cent  Grin
