Hi every body, My name is Andrew and I've been a BitCoin addict for 1 month now and I have yet to earn 1 bitcoin   hahaha 8800GT ftw I will say the card has been a trooper. Started off years ago as apart of my Folding@Home Rig. Been trying to get investors for new hardware for mining. Anyway, glad to be aboard!

Haven't earned 1 bitcoin? That's plenty even with a small ASIC. Anyway before starting to mine with heavy equipment you might want to try some small alt-coins to get used to the concept and possibly make something sijce alt-coins difficulty isn't as high as btc's.

I'm only getting 28-30 Mhash/s with the 8800GT. I will say the time I have been pooling has been up and down while trying to make things stable. My current reward is 0.00020471 BTC from Nov 26th. I meant mining for one month not two. My mistake.

I've looked into LiteCoin as well. The mining programs for that keep crashing or freezing my system. I'm sure a little more research will solve that.

Back before I thought Bitcoin could be used for anything other than drugs, I had up to 10 BTC in my wallet at once, now I can't even afford 1 BTC

I kind of thought the same thing. I had the cash to buy into it in the beginning but passed. Fast forward to now, hour cuts at work ...etc. So I started mining. It's always worth a shot.
