Firstly, I just wanted to give a big thanks to Fast-Pool and the admin for a great, reliable pool with prompt payouts, and for being an honest, stand-up guy unlike other admins on some pools (scrypools, I'm looking at you).

Quick question about the new stratum - What hashrates and lower will see an improvement? I'm at around 460Kh/s...should I be switching over to the new stratum?

you can just keep mining at the normal stratum I think.
I think is for miners that are lower than 500kH/s.

it is just that you get easier blocks and so you do more blocks but at the same speed or something like that.

I have a question. I did a manual payout of my mined doges. It's says that the transaction is confirmed but even after 15 minutes I still haven't received any payment on my doge wallet.

I keep getting payouts of only 20-70 doge a block even though I am mining at 1100 kh/s on two 7970 gigahertz editions.  I do getting payouts of 170-300 as well but the 20-70 ones are getting really common and they are cutting into how much I am making.  Of my last 10 block payouts 8 out of the 10 where for just 20-70 dogecoins.  I also got a payout for only 5 doge two hours ago.  And the last block (2014-01-05 09:59:05) my estiamted payout was 300 something but then I only got 36.

Shouldn't 1100kh/s a second be getting more doge than that?

Also this forum is really buggy and I have had to retype the post repeatedly because it keeps saying I already made this post even though I haven't posted on here since 2012.

are you sure you are mining with us? Smiley

even if yes you still need to wait to confirm...
maybe you are mining on low speed rig/cpu
then switch to stratum 188.165.164.185:80
its better vardiff for low speeds
