GPU mining rig question.

If one were to run the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD7 motherboard, and wanted a powerful cpu ready to run 6 gpu's, but also able to be used for gaming at a later date, what would the best choice be? Not breakt he bank but worthy enough that said machine with two video card's would be a solid rig after.

Also If were planning to run the R9 290X, 6, would dual 1200 watt PSU be enough? not finding much on the running draw of these.
