There are only so many dumps left that the price will eventually have to go above $1000, as the coins will get scarcer and scarcer. Especially given how the Chinese are still vacuuming them up while they can. It'll become a miner's market again, basically.

I never used that bet site, but maybe I'll try it out. I think it actually will hit $100 before it hits $1000 again, if ever.

It's super easy, no reg, just click 'NO' and send something to the address from a wallet that can accept money back (in case you win, which you won't ). So shared wallet won't work, local electrum or multibit would be just fine. Right now, 100 mBTC on NO yields 296 mBTC.

Well, we almost made $1000 again, or if it did it was short lived. All the way back to to the $700's now. What a pain in the ass. Lets see if the census was correct here. Most people said it would definitely go over $1000 after the new year. Here we are.

Huh? I'm an impatient person I guess. There has to be something that's holding it back, not allowing it to creep over that $1k mark. All is ok, since I'm just accumulating coins but it has been a while since I've sold any. When it hovered around $1k for a while I constantly sold here and there.I thought this weekend would have been it!

But we are being slowly pressed closer by buying pressure as the days go by. We will definitely break over by the end of the month

When it did drop to $600 a few weeks ago, I made a big purchase then also. I normally just mine my coins, but had to make a purchase. So I'm doing well and my stubbornness is just keeping me from selling since I got spoiled with that $1k a while back. The waiting game.

Sometimes it's good looking at the charts upside down - gives you an idea of the fear in holding fiat!

There is a not well know feedback mechanism built in the Bitcoin, that depends on the Bitcoin price. Higher the price, higher the selling pressure due to the miners costs. This mechanism is currently suspended because one does not simply buy mining hardware. One has to wait. Explained here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=414657.0

I think we will hit $1,000 again, but I think we are going to be hovering around the $775-$850 range for awhile. Whenever it gets to the low $800s or below a ton of new buy orders get placed. Also vice versa, as it approaches $835+ a ton of sell orders get placed...so I think we going to be tinkering back and forth in this range for a little bit. I definitely think we are headed over $1,000 over the next few months though...

Again, no it won't, but my tax attorney said that I need to stop betting on this stuff, so I won't be betting any more with fiat or bitcoin. If it does hit $1000 again (which I know it won't because of sources), then I'll send the next person to post...my guitar pick and one of my socks.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.
