The first btc conference took place in Bangalore last weekend

Well hopefully India can replace china in there interest in buying bitcoins since they are in economic boom some rich guy might invest it

I will not put India in the same league as China. Although the population might be more or less equal, the Indian investors are not as wealthy as their Chinese counterparts. So I don't think that we can expect a price hike similar to the one we had when BTC boomed in China.
