I think it's Nick Szabo. Though you can never tell if Bitcoin is a mastermind concept. (Mtgox.com was registered in 2007 just 2 years before Bitcoin showed up)

That's because Jed McCaleb book domain for some cards website. I don't remember full form of Mt.Gox but it was something like Magic or Magical.. Whatever.. Then, his programmed world's first Bitcoin exchange and then his friend Mark took charge of Mt.Gox for him.

Mt.Gox, stood foor Magic The Gathering - Online Exchange... i know...i played the game 20 years ago Smiley It's a card game from a company called Wizards of the Coasts. I'm sure it stlll exists.
