All forms of investment are risky, I am sad to see so many ico scams, investing in ico is risky because there is no legal entity that regulates ico and if you read the whitepaper from the ico project, you will see the same message, like all forms of investment in ico,requires you to do research first before investing

Choose an ICO assessment strategy and try to follow it. If you are satisfied with everything in the project (team / roadmap / idea), then you can invest. But not more than 5-10 % of your deposit. ICO it's very risky investing

I see a lot of bounty projects at this time a lot of bounty projects that don't make ico and some of them are ico projects that are not achieved, this means that the current condition is still unstable and the listing icon is low, so in my opinionwait until market conditions are stable

No advices on this matter. have a look on ico market right now. Even ICO I promote in my signature has been already listed on IDEX and price is less than on ICO, so who will buy on ICO stage besides investors?

I suggest you continue to hold your 5 ETHs, because most altcoins are far worse than Ethereum. If you use 5 ETHs to invest in other altcoins, you will probably not be able to guarantee the cost. |

I suggest you continue to hold your 5 ETHs, because most altcoins are far worse than Ethereum. If you use 5 ETHs to invest in other altcoins, you will probably not be able to guarantee the cost. Or better you hodl half of the Ethereum you have, and the other half to invest in altcoins, not to participate in ICO but try doing research projects with good idea and great team but the price of coins is much cheaper than ICO prices, usually coins that enter the market today can go down 10x than the ICO price. I think it's safer and has the potential to get much profits. You can do a hodl for a few months or trade and take profit little by little. |

Yes, you can start investing now in an ICO using your 5 Ethereum. My advice to you is to research good ICO first before investing, so that your money will not be lost or scam. Because many ICO's now are scam, not totally scam because the ICO's now are not getting the soft cap that's why the project will be failed. |

Considering that ethereum price is a very low level I would keep my Eth coins for a better times and in the mean time I would trade ethereum which is better in terms of bearish market.

Investing in ICO isn't a good idea at the moment. I'd advise you to hold your Eth until the upcoming Constantinople hard fork which must happen on January 16th or hold your assets in Btc.

I don't think it is a great time to invest in ICO. Instead of that, you have to hold it. Because ETH has the high potential in its growth. And I hope it will grow after a certain time later. So holding ETH is more profitable rather than investing in any ICO as per the current market situation.

u better not rely on the ICO rating website. u need to study the project itself. is it a creative project？ does the project team have enough experience and they are constantly updating the code？ finally, the status of the funds raised by the project？

I would recommend to spend your 5 ETH into two variants, first - to stay in ETH, and second - to buy 4 coins from the top 10 coins that fall down in price per every ETH, but not to invest into ICO, nowadays there are few good of them.

Currently not the best time to invest in the projects of the ico . Multiple fraudulent projects and bearish market trends put your investment at risk. But if you do decide to invest , then this should be done at an early stage in ico , when the project offers big bonuses. Or purchase tokens of the draft after entering the market , when their value is low due to the participants in the bounty of the companies that merge their awards at the lowest prices.

Do not invest your all money to an ICO. Invest your some money differnt ICO. Coinschedule, ICOrating, ICOhost, ICOhotlist good ICO review website. Follow them and research your thinking. Take some suggestion who invested before many ICO. |

I don't know if buying an ico is something that you should be doing right now because of the icos now being useless. You are really better off investing that money into a good coin that you can trust. An already established coin but one which is still cheap like neo would be a better pick for you to spend that eth on so you can be sure you will make money from it |

I would recommend to exchange your ETH into stable coins or dollars and wait until the market is going to recover. It may be a good entry point for a lot of altcoins, but ICOs are simply unprofitable at the moment.

There are not too many reliable projects and ico this year, I'm following uranus project but they didnt do ico from months so I wont participate to ico I guess. I participated just one ico this year because they are losing a lot of value after ico. |
