I think that people are selling houses, property, and leaving their jobs because they are ambitious to make big profits with big investments. Regardless of investment, we will be lucky if we have a good strategy. People who go crazy because they can not wait if they have to get a small profit so they sell their assets to be invested into the world of crypto.
I think people who sell all their assets and real property just for investment in BTC are just fakes, and they just say it just to raise the hype for BTC and to get people interested in investing in BTC. But investment from their working salary maybe still exist. |

Because crypto is a big investment place in the world. Compared to other investments crypto is much better, and certainly safer. and of course the benefits can be greater. |

Their crazy decision may drive to something better and worse. Of course, it will depend on what they do and they struggle. I myself becomes probably one of them. I left my full time job and focus only on crypto. Am I crazy? No I think. Precisely, I'm sure that involved in crypto drive me to change my life. It is an awesome way to make some earnings, learn investing and trading, and also understanding the high technology in this era.

Cryptos are driving people nuts because of how dangerously profitable it is when invested high enough and timed it correctly, you'll be instantly a millionaire or a dirt poor if you happen to miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime. That's enough reason for them to do crazy things for the opportunity to make a lot of money. |

Maybe you're right but not everything become crazy because crypto. I think if those who leaving their job, sell home, or property seem to see crypto as an instant field to earn money without considering the risks maturely. Others who understand crypto will not sell all their assets just for crypto.

I think people are jumping into the crypto train just in the hope of earning more and more and more. They have seen bitcoin and some altcoins taking a giant leap in terms of increment in their prices. See bitcoin shot to around $20000 per coin in prices at a time just from around $500 not so long ago. However, such big stride in prices is not possible now as regulators are tightening their grip on it.
