Ok, so in a few months the Jalapenos will be history as new chips come online.

So... What kind of new models of chips can we retrofit into our jallies to keep them hashing? I have this thought of a 100gh/s jalapeno.

Thoughts?

Unfortunately the answer is probably none. All of the sub-55nm chips seem to be going for the couple of HUGE chips approach, instead of the array of many small chips approach seen in Avalon/Asicminer/Bitfury. So even if the chips were protocol compatible (they won't be) they won't have a compatible footprint for the small BGA packages of BFL's 65nm design.

You could always produce adapters - pure pcb in such case.

Just add more BFL chips. Simple.

Just *find* more BFL chips. I think BFL took them in so they could make those stupid 250gh miners.
