I think we should just take time when deciding on a project to join some of these scammers cannot be easily identified as they also take time to brand and package their project to attract investors. I think we can help ourselves by reporting cases of scams when we experience one to help others from falling victim of scam from the same project. I think by doing these, some scammers will run away because they wont make progress.

It would help if projects run their ICO trough third parties. An independant party does the audit of the project and handles the KYC etc

For the rest i think it's a matter of educating people, learn them to recognize red flags. Always use common sense!

Good luck

With the rise of ICOs, greedy individuals have found the perfect opportunity to scam crypto and ICO investors. How do you think we should collaborate to identify scammers and stop them?

Identifying scammers have become abit hard as they scammers have learned the are of deception and mastered it. But some of the points that you should be looking out for I believe are:
- Do they have a working demo?
- Do their team have Linkedin accounts?
- Are they promising large amount of money in exchange for small investment?
- Do most of their social posts tell you to invest in them, and only a few about their product that they are offering?

These are some of the points you need to lookout for.
