Some governments are starting to embrace blockchain and cryptocurrencies and others are literally closing the doors to this technology. Do you think governments will continue to fight back against cryptocurrencies and decentralization?

In my own personal opinion, the government cannot kill cryptocurrencies, even there are a lot of countries who already banned bitcoin because there are countries who are legalized bitcoin like America and Japan. Hoping that those countries will start to unbanned bitcoin, so everyone will start to have their own bitcoin.

This is a very serious issue as it also contributes to how well crypto will do in the near future. I think while some government  might encourage the system by supporting it, some others will continue fighting against it, as they feel it is one way to fight those who use it for criminal purposes via transactions.

I don´t think that the government or any government in the world can kill crypto, I think that they will make it much easier for everyone and will include taxes to profit from it.

The government does not try to prohibit the crypto currency, but tries to protect illiterate people from large losses in the crypto currency market. Therefore, it seems to me that in the future the state will weaken its prohibitions and possibly even legalize the crypto currency.

I believe they are not going to kill cryptocurrency. Yes at first they saw it as a threat. However, instead of treating it as a threat, I am 100% sure that they will regulate it and use crypto to their advantage.

Hey thanks for the intresting topic to discuss. I have the impression that goverments just are very afraid of the blockchain and crypto, and they do not realize how to control it so they trying to slower the process...

Governments are looking to fight against cryptocurrency, but this is pointless because no one can fight it. System and anonymity make everything so great that it makes the government unable to control anything.

Never to happen because its now more stronger due to the demand by individuals, I think there are some governments official are involve here in crypto that they think it has a potential and can help the citizen through financial. I believe it will survive in long lasting due to the opportunities and capable to earn good benefits.

Most probably the answer is yes from my point of view but after a long and tough fight between the governments and crypto, the government is not able to win crypto in the fight they will try to find ways to work in harmony, when you cannot win your opponent you join them. When more countries start to be more lenient on crypto, follow the trend is always better than going against the trend.

I do not believe the governments want to kill the cryptocurrencies. Their aim is to control them and get extra taxes, and they do not like decentralized technologies as they have lack of the control on them.

They can since cryptocurrency is affecting the economy and the banking industry. I think that they will TRY to do so, but for the demand that the crypto has, it will be very difficult

Honestly speaking no idea about it because listing in some countries ban and in some countries opening atm for it, and also a chance that government pick them under a tax network than it's more clearly chances for both for better future of it.

Perhaps the future will hold brighter solutions that what currently stand. The learning curve is indeed steep, but legislators the world over have a duty to inform themselves on one of the fastest developing technologies. Governments and captains of the industry have now embarked on projects to fully assess blockchain’s capabilities and how it can be incorporated into day to day processes

I think it's the other way around. The governments are the key to make cryptocurrency survive. The governments will make crypto recognized and somehow put a legal rules in crypto world. To have accountability to every move. As of now, there is no rules being followed that is why many scammers are destroying the cryptocurrency.

Government should understand the purpose and the benefits of bitcoin. Many people are relying on bitcoin and unemployment was also reduce. Maybe it's time to be open minded in a new system that could help the people.

After I learnt many things about cryptocurrency, I realized govt won't kill it but will cause panic on the fall of the price, so they can buy more at dip for future high profilt.

They are trying to resist but they will fall, This crypto avalanche is unstoppable. Sooner or later they have to embrace it. And the ones who'll jump in earlier would benefit more from it. They will accept it one day or the other and if they don't still then it won't matter, Crypto will keep rising.

No, the government can only do is  they will not legalise it in their country. But nowadays many countries governments are accepting cryptocurrencies, and many countries are thinking to legalise cryptocurriencies in their country. So nobody can kill cryptocurrency, one day cryptocurrency will be the strongest currency in the world.
