I don't think if the goverment will kill the crypto, because crypto is technology that is developing and will develop. Maybe it doesn't kill but makes it difficult to access crypto.

First of all, there will be attempts to regulate this sphere because it itself is beyond the influence of the government. And as we know the first thing that the government is trying to achieve complete control.

it seems to me that there is no reason for the state to kill cryptocurrencies. Despite the fact that there are countries that are negative to the cryptocurrency, there are also a sufficient number of countries that are in favor of it. of course no one can predict how the state will behave, but it seems unlikely that they will prohibit the cryptocurrency in general

They can't even if they wished - whatever they do, technology finds new ways through innovation - you can't reverse the technological advances even if you wanted, and you could only stop it in a completely Orwellian society, and most countries are not there yet, even if there are dangerous tendencies. Crypto is the form of money of the future - the Blade Runner style - it will happen Grin

I don't think this will happen. Government won't kill crypto because they are discussing crypto on summits like G 20, they discuss crypto adoption and so on, so what is the reason to kill crypto?

Some governments are starting to embrace blockchain and cryptocurrencies and others are literally closing the doors to this technology. Do you think governments will continue to fight back against cryptocurrencies and decentralization?
Some Governments are scared. On Cryptocurrencies. The Fact that they cannot control its growth and mandates its transaction. Not to mention the taxes.
But for some, countries embrace the possibilities that there economy could be affected. on the volume of its citizens that uses cryptocurrency.
but regardless of government actions, they could not banned or prohibit its use.
unless they sanctioned and file excessive fines and even prison time to those whos will continue to use crypto on their country

I guess it's too late the government to kill crypto now, if they want to kill this economy they should kill it when bitcoin started to bloom. Crypto is getting adopted and a lot of people are embracing crypto.

I think no. It seems to me on the contrary that officials see this as an opportunity for additional revenue to the budget, due to taxes on mining and on profits from trading on the exchange. They will do that everyone will be able to use it, but will have to pay a tax, for me this is the most logical decision.

Dear all,
Yeah, I do not know. That is up to the governments. This government maybe support but others maybe not. They have different opinions about crypto market. This is our future. I think the crypto will be popular. We hope so!

Governments around the world derive great power from their ability to issue their national currency. It’s completely against their interests to have a new currency compete with their monopoly in issuing currency.

The fact that people are using bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to transfer wealth, avoid taxes and for illegal activities is also a big threat to government power.

If everyone shifted to bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, then the government’s tax collection would go to zero. And it could lose its ability to enforce law and control the economy.

The bottom line: Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies represent a threat to a government’s power.

Don’t think so, because blockchain technology is probably a new era for this world, it will change the way we know it, and for every country it will be a must to embrace the technology and cryptocurrencies, it will probably be just a normal thing in future.

I believe that they continue the war against cryptoculture because of the fact that it is difficult to impose certain taxes and if there is no tax, then it is not profitable to the state I think soon it will become easier!

The government will always fight what it does not control. Look around you and you will understand it.

I think that makes no sense and can cause reverse effect and more popularity, most likely governments will adopt cryptocurrency for their purposes

I think the government will never kill the cryptocurrency market. Governments can ban regulation to manage crypto, but they can not kill crypto. Cryptocurrency has brought us a lot of benefits, in the future this market will grow strongly. I believe that in the next few years there will be more governments accepting and using crypto in trading.

In my opinion, the government can't stop the development of cryptocurrency, because decentralization is the future trend. It is more open and transparent, so that more people can establish trust through it. I think it can help us bring it. More convenience. There is no reason to stop unless the state wants other minds.

In my own point of view, i think the government could really kill cryptocurrencies because they are powerful enough to do that. But for now they can't because there are countries which they made cryptocurrencies as legal and i think in the near future government will start to accept cryptocurrencies.
The technology can't be killed by the government, so many times the governments had tried to kill the old technology that becomes the mainstream technology right now. Technology is about the future and i don't see any point that makes the government can kill crypto even with strict regulation and it will not work.

they were not trying to kill they are trying to regulate it and now bitcoin is legal as far as I know in SG and china, they are trying to kill it because they see it as the future of financial transcations.

No, the government will only support it because cryptocurrency technology is indeed beneficial to the country and the people. Why did you kill it?
I believe that all countries in the future will not only accept cryptocurrencies.

Crypto-currency is in fact already accepted by almost all the world! And next year will be a turning point for the financial world system, in general!

I think they would never kill cryptocurrency, remember last g20 confrence about cryptocurrency? They said the development of fintech is inevitable and also regulation is a must. They do think cryptocurrency is good development of fintech so they will try to embrace it and protect people who invest on cryptocurrency.
