Some governments are starting to embrace blockchain and cryptocurrencies and others are literally closing the doors to this technology. Do you think governments will continue to fight back against cryptocurrencies and decentralization?

No, the governments cannot kill cryptocurrency. Some of them are just studying the technology in order to fully understand its advantages and disadvantages so as to know if it should adopt it nationally or not.

I will strongly say the government can not kill Cryptocurrency simply because it's going wide daily but the government can interfere by controlling/monitor the activity so as not to go against the rules of the country, though many countries have accepted Crypto but with the way it's going many more will accept it but would bring on new Cryptocurrency as time goes on, so as to control scam or money laundry.

Government can play a vital role on Cryptocurrency based on the risk involved in it also. Though Crypto is going global based on many countriess have accepted it because it also gives comfort for trading around the world and the language is going global and I'm sure the more the Government accept the more secure they'll want Crypto to be and make lesser risk on it for money laundry or scam.

Cryptocurrencies were created in order to exist separately from the government and I do not think that this can ever change. At least, I hope that the state will not put its hand on the cryptocurrency.

I understand that there are restrictions on the presence of crypto. So far crypto has been used anonymously, will experience many obstacles and difficulties if the government wants to eradicate crypto. In addition, the government must also assess the positive side of crypto's presence, that crypto has become a very meaningful land for loyal users. Because the existence of crypto has provided welfare for your people.

There is no way Government can kill cryptocurrencies but the only issues with crypto and government is the practice of the decentralization technology where by government would love to control the stability and the price on some of the crypto in order to earn profits and regulate the price of the currency to their own bests. But I believe some government who are adamant will surely allow the activities of cryptocurrency because it's easier to hold, use than Fiat currency.

In a huge country that technology is very Blockchain note by the Government. They oppose Blockchain because the Government doesn't want to adversely affect by the existence of the technology. In my country this very concern because the Government does not want to happen to the manipulation of large amounts of money so they can be harming the Government. And in this case, the Government could be very firm.

If they see it as a threat it is possible that the government may block or kill cryprocurrency usage but maybe within a country only as cryptocurrency is an international in nature. So the government's control is somewhat limited because of this. While used by so many not a single country may just have the have the right to kill or stop cryptocurrencies.

There is indeed a government that does not directly kill the monetary market. But policies and restrictions will limit the development of currency. It's just a limitation in terms of not being able to ban all people from entering the money market and they are looking for ways to collect fees and taxes.

I think if the company of cryptocurrencies are not violating any rules under the law then there’s no appropriate or valid reason that the government will kill cryptocurrencies because of nonsense basis.

I hope that the government bodies will be very loyal to the crypto currency. After all, the crypto currency has a lot of interesting advantages that can improve people's lives.

These fake rejections of crypto will be overturn as time goes on.  What government wouldn't want to issue their own coin, make all others illegal and track all of it's peoples every purchase.  You must be on crack if you think the ETF (paper Bitcoin so the price can easily be manipulated) and no blockchain at all are not going to happen.  They just want you to think there is push back.  Its a trap.  The sheeple are going to run right into it so it's going to happen no matter what so we may as well try to get rich (so we don't have to follow the new shitty rules)

I doubt it very much. The authorities will be able soon to profit from taxes imposed on cryptocurrency activities. This will completely suit them, because it's money almost "from the air"

Governments will not fight cryptocurrencies, they will just take everything under their control. It's happening. Cryptocurrencies are losing their purpose.

I agree. It is advantageous for the government not to kill the crypto currency, but to introduce control over it, in order to establish a taxation.

It is actually a matter of time until the majority of governments start embracing cryptos and blockchain in one way or another, they need to keep it close to them so they are aware of their potential.

I think that all attempts to kill the crypto currency will fail. Because it is technically not possible. Governments can prohibit crypto currency using laws, but this will not give a good result.

If something has the potential to limit cryptocurrencies that is the government of a country, however, I think that instead of that they will start exploiting blockchain to keep competing with other countries.

From the look of things government's are trying everything possible to bring down Crypto since they've  realize the future it holds. As you can see one strategy they've devise is to make it look illegal in the sight of the many. They've realize that their various traditional currency is not able to match boot for boot with Cryptocurrencies and for that matter they are also trying as much as they can to regulate it.
