I used this guide to set up solo mining.  Still haven't mined any coins though so I'm not completely sure I've done it right.  Does the port matter at all as long as its consistent?

Its already too late to solo mine this pump and dump scamcoin unless you have a lot of horsepower. I put my 2Mhps rig on it and nothing for 15 minutes. I'd wait for the next stupid altcoin to come out.

You will need a miner like CGminer, copy the config to AppData/Roaming/Billioncoin, setup a .bat file that matches config and you're good.

I bet the diff will drop significantly here in a few hours.  I imagine alot of the "big riggers" will jump onto these coins for a few hours just to get their hands on a bunch of them, on the off-chance they actually end up being worth something later.

I would do the same thing -- if I had the equipment to solo-mine a couple million of these in a few short hours early on, I'd take the chance they might go up to $0.01 later on down the road.  Worth the risk on losing a couple hours of more profitable mining on LTC or others.

It's normal, you mined 1 block and it's in your wallet.
