YES, my first minded coins, Confirmed   20.54418494

Thank you all for teaching me how to have fun and mine, even though it took me 2 minutes after the pool opened until now, about 6 or so hours to get 20 coins, hehe, my masive 5k didnt do much, and i overheated every 5 minutes and had to reboot, lol

so now i have to look for a new laptop or make a miner

also who is selling billioncoin cheep? i dont think my 20 will go for when it gets a nice value lol

Flexgroo

Dude don't feel bad i am on laptop. In a room that is about 30deg.. And a fan on the laptop.praying it does not crash.
Also i bought my laptop when i was in college.Thats 6 years ago.. Have not been able to afford a new one.

only made about 50coins since start. and someone was extremely nice and donated me a few coins. I gave that man some good karma for that.
I am new to altcoins. Accepting Donations so i can join the rest of you all.
So far i only have a few doges and Billion coin. I am currently mining billioncoin.

I'm mining at around ~2000 kHash, when will I start to see something? They've been running over half an hour, keep telling me that there've been "new block detected on network", but I don't see any coins in both of my 2 wallets yet. Isn't it more profitable already now to just join a pool?

Looks fine what you say. The "mine"-tab in the client is for cpu mining afaik.

It's kind of luck. I mine with about 2300 kh/s and got my first block in 5 minutes. But since then I found nothing anymore. But I have about 20K BIL now. Far away from beeing a billionaire Cheesy

Edit: Yes, the difficulty is pretty high so a pool could be better. I love solo mining because it's exciting. I love it when a popup is showing up, telling me that I (or my GPUs Cheesy) found a new block.

Simple:
If new coin is out, solo mine
If diff is above 0.5 switch to pool
or, just be a lucky guy and hope for the best....

It depends. This coin is new, too. Even so the difficulty is at 4.8.
And if you have a high hashing power you cannot say that you should switch to a pool at a diff above 0.5.

This has to be the fastest rise in difficulty I've seen. Looks like mining heavy weights are turning to every new altcoins.

Diff on EVERYTHING is waaay up I dont believe that there are enough "heavyweights" out there to account for this, something is up.  Tons of people purchased rigs or someone invented some type of monster scrypt hashing hardware that is still underground.    I could be wrong but I have never seen scrypt hashrates explode on EVERY coin, usually it's just one hyped coin (aka megacoin a week ago)

Or I could just be flat out wrong haha.   Thoughts??

This is first time i have ever seen such nethash for a completely new coin which is released a few hours ago. Peak nethash 680MH and stable at 320-400MH.
Even Doge needs 7 days to reach this nethash and diff. I predict diff will rise dramatically when more people know about BillionCoin.

Looking forward to see its success in near future.

Odd. I mined doge coin last night for the hell of it. 12 hours got me 26,000.

I mined this for an hour and worked out how much I would get in 12 hours at currently difficulty and it would be 13,000.

So basically this is twice as hard as doge coin and has more coins, and is a newer coin launched today.

What is going on?
