one more tip, if you factory IP label is 192.168.2.xx, after HW reset, the all default IP of miner became 192.168.1.xx (could be 99).
so you PC IP should set to 192.168.1.254 too.

I managed it, but in a different way then the pdf says. I had to push the button for 10 seconds before it got a new ip. The 3 seconds in the pdf didn't do anything for my ant.

Sadly, some are buying from the group buy, and turning around and listing on Ebay for over $5,000 USD (making at least $500 profit)

they dont go good on eBay
i had to sell my first one after the recent crash, and got barely back what i paid for
atm the last one there which was really sold went for 3000€ which is a 0-0 after all the fees
the other listings never found buyers and peeps still buy BFL at 2k€ for 1/3rd of power

majority of the buyer on ebay are scammers, i tried twice selling asicminer cards, they both got paypal claim and charged back the money after mining it for a month, paypal doesn't care and always side with the buyer. 

selling on ebay is very risky, for the seller.

 I am contemplating unloading a number of ASICMiner Erupter USB's, Blades, and Avalon products on EBay to make room for more efficient gear, but these horror stories of EBay selling give me pause.

 On a related note, eagerly anticipating the next group buy.

If you figure out a good way to move the stuff, let us know.  I have a few ASICMiner blades and six Jalapeno's I want to sell to make room for more antminers.  I had a bunch of the erupters, but I sold them for my cost to another forum member here.  I dont like paypal charge backs either.

I managed it, but in a different way then the pdf says. I had to push the button for 10 seconds before it got a new ip. The 3 seconds in the pdf didn't do anything for my ant.

BitMinter should be fine. Eligius is definitely fine (I've been using it). I've had trouble trying to get them to work with p2pool-based pools. I get about 30% rejects (although I'm not actually sure how much that is hurting my earnings). Changing share difficulty doesn't seem to help.

Some seriously fast shipping. Had to pick it up in the evening at UPS distribution center. The UPS woman on the phone said the customs duty would be around 67USD equivalent. The people at the distribution center looked at me like I was crazy when I offered to pay. So..yeah, maybe I will get a bill for a "computer game gateway", maybe not. Not complaining. The unit itself arrived in perfect condition and is currently running at the advertised speed.
