I have 100 computers each with 4 GPUs and i want to solo mine but im not sure if im doing it right.
I want to setup the wallet on one computer and turn that into a server and have the other 100 computers connect to the server.
rpcthreads= (Set the number of threads to service RPC calls (default: 4)

Is it ok to increase the rpcthreads limit and mine with the mentioned setup.

Yes, rpcthreads is what you want to increase.  But I don't know what the upper limit is.  I've successfully mined against a wallet with 20 computers or so.

Just add the following lines to your bitcoin.conf file:

rpcthreads=xxx

xxx is the number of your miners, like 100.

Save and close the file, then restart your bitcoin-qt. Everything should be fine by now.

just setup one local p2pool and you will not have any issue, alone on it is like solo mining.

I can give you the right instructions how to do it if you need

Another option is to use a stratum proxy and point the proxy to your own MPOS pool.

He never said anything at all about free electricity or using someone else's hardware. And most people don't run 4 GPUs per computer.

It sounds to me like he's running a GPU farm, and would rather not point all his hashrate at a pool, but just wants to solo mine. Pools usually charge a fee, and it's nice to have all your coins in your own hands at all times, ya know?

I am wondering a SIMILAR thing, I have 2 antminers that I want to use to mine alt coins, I can point both to my laptop running the client using the below conf correct?

rpcuser=
rpcpassword=
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.0.*
rpcport=xxxxx
listen=1
rpcthreads=10
port=xxxxx
gen=0
server=1

I am trying to run both miners but when I do I am trying to verify them working with the netstat cmd, it only shows 1 antminer connecting;

               port for client              antminer 1          working or not?
