I had an experience with a greendot money pak.  The purchaser made a dispute. He also had a receipt. Not only did i lose the funds, I was banned from greendot products. Bastard got me for a g.  Their so called investigation took about 2 weeks.

I would suggest to only do face-to-face transactions in this current Bitcoin market.
Too much BS going around.

there's plenty of consumer protection out there , but not much of seller's protection.
in these kind of disputes not heard of many sellers coming out on top.

i know this has been said a million times, but apparently it should be said one more time. If you use credit cards, PayPal, moneypack, etc. You may lose your bitcoins and your money. Only do this if you have no other choice and:
You have secured collateral.
You know the person in real life and they are trustworthy.
You are prepared to have your account locked. PayPal, for example, does this all the time. They are not going to help you get your money back, they are going to lock your account because you have violated their TOS.

Having said that, sorry to hear about your loss. Crooks are awful.  Angry
