pool effects mining?

Hey everybody , this is my first post, sorry for my english.
im a new miner and i have a question, does the pool im using effects the coins im earning? there are better pools then other?
is it matter what pool i am at?

In terms of pools:  Yes, every pool is different and can reward participants in different ways/amounts. 

To get some advice on which pool(s) to use, let us know what coins your mining and what kind of hashing power you're dealing with.

A pool with more than average hash rate compared to other pool's finds a block faster, thus distributing the earned shares faster.

i used to mine FeatherCoin but im currentlly mining dogecoin, at hash rate of ~250 (i will buy new cards soon and will have 750).
so if the Pool Hashrate is higher, the pool is better, and ill earn more coins?
i already have 15K dogecoins.
