Just curious how many people have you gotten interested in Bitcoins?

I don't know if I can count off the top of my head, but around the office, I seem to be the only one who had purchased BTC, and i've gotten dozens of people interested and following BTC.  It's crazy the number of people i've got excited and interested in this cryptocurrency.

I got my whole college class into it.
My networking teacher even let us mine them during gone class.ha.
He asked the class how would we put the class computers to test. (3.1gh quad core cpu and mid range Nvidia graphics cards on each)
I suggested bitcoins.  I was completely shocked when he told me he didn't know what a bitcoin was.
I'm fully sure the network admin is sitting on thousands of bitcoins. I mean, having a full college to farm your bitcoins 4 months out the year.  Grin

That would be theft of electricity.  Not everyone who has power abuses it.

No idea how many. Family/Friends/Coworkers ..but the most valuable have been the small business and franchise owners I've talked to. In just about every case, they hadn't even heard of BTC. It surprises me every time, but I suppose the average Joe isn't as plugged into BTC as most here.

Spread the good word!

I've told people but most aren't interested. Some even laughed, telling me I've been suckered into a scam, so I generally keep quiet now.

Anyone willing to talk to people about crypto has had this. It can be difficult to handle that sometimes. Not the easiest thing to explain to people in the first place, then throw in some that are more short-sighted and it can be an uphill struggle. Some that looked at me and laughed, or rolled their eyes are now sending me messages about new BTC news they find. Keep talking! You can laugh back as the price continues to rise.

I've never once encouraged anyone to buy. That makes it look like a scam. I just say do your own research.

My dad and my wife, but they didn't care to find out more about it.  In fact one of them said, "oh, Bitcoin is real?"

A lot of people in my area are interested in what they are, cause they are just unable to comprehend the technical aspect of it. I try to explain it to them from time to time, but most of them lack the understanding. Also some yell that I'm caught in some "Pyramid scheme"
