Hey I'm kinda of new into the crypto curreny and came upon anoncoins and I'm wonder how everyone feels about them.
Also I feel like all coins revolve around how well BTC is doing so whats the point of other currencies? they don't seem independent enough.

My understanding of anoncoins is that their main difference is they're designed to operate over i2p. Apparently there was a bitcoin build with that same feature but I don't know if it exists currently because I have all my bitcoins on exchanges and I don't even have it installed. Lots of cryptocurrency supporters are privacy conscious so it could work out. This is just my token noob post though.

There thread doesn't look much active here in the "Alternate Cryptocurrencies" section. Though I'm not sure if it is really backed by THE Anonymous group, in that case it deserves more attention.
