You mean "mine", not "premine". It's called premine only when it's mined before it's announced to the public.

Nobody knows what could become worthy. I mined a couple of Dogecoin blocks when it was released just for the lulz and then stopped. Turns out I had mined what now is valued at 0,5 Bitcoins in 30 minutes. I could have made much more had I continued mining DOGE.

On the other hand, I invested significant mining resources on the coin known as Offerings to Cthulhu and there's not even an exchange for that yet.

hmm
I meant are the odds on your side that you will earn significant amounts of money if you mine every coin in not very big amounts (let's say around 10k) as it starts Smiley
will one coin eventually be worth it for all the other failed coins? Cheesy

It's all luck of the draw - if you can get in and mine 25k coins early and some exchange adds it (highly unlikely with all the insane amounts of new coins), or you can find buyers, you might make a few tenths of a bitcoin. Or you might get lucky and be involved with something like the whole Feathercoin fiasco where it was added to btc-e and the price was absolutely insane. 10k coins was something like 1 or 2 bitcoins worth early in the game.
