Hello guys.
Currently me and my bro are searching to make investments in ASIC (buy 1-2 units) and we are struggling for several days finding reliable seller. We know that 100% reputation has KNC but unfortunately they are sold out so we are in search. We know that there is CoinTerra and it is earning our trust - they have some videos and there is some information on forums.
So in our searches we met these guys http://www.coreminer.com/
I've seen one post here on bitcointalk that someone asked them how they can prove if they are legit.
Guys where smart enough to make photos of their "office".
Here they are :
https://www.dropbox.com/s/g23j1p5hl0vyqa7/shot_131217_122217.png
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5ijn27hdvbasc08/shot_131217_122148.png
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ce7rxe7a4c8yt8g/shot_131217_122239.png

And here is the funniest part. Thanks to my brother who just googled images of their "office" he found this :
http://www.flickr.com/photos/didak/8309551580/in/photostream/
Looks similar eh ? Cheesy

So our CoreMiner friends think they are quite cool in photoshop skills. Though you are not that good guys ...
First of all - use different filter when you resize image to fit Wink https://www.dropbox.com/s/ce7rxe7a4c8yt8g/shot_131217_122239.png here you have all edges fucked up by resizing.
Second , guys , really... https://www.dropbox.com/s/g23j1p5hl0vyqa7/shot_131217_122217.png you dont even have reflection of fans on the floor.

So
I think that is enough to prove that these guys are total and 100% scams.
Please be careful with your investments !

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

I don't know anything about http://www.axonlabs.net/ but there are several things by which you can decide.
First of all any company which makes such kind of stuff should have prototypes. The should test everything before announcing pre-orders. So ask for the prototype photos / videos.
Check them very careful for such things i've found.
The next thing you can think about is if they accept only BTC - they are 80% scams.
You should keep on eye all of the details. Address of the company , how they ship , what they promise. As i've made my research price for 2-3TH/S unit now costs 8 - 14k USD. If price is much lower - this should be a signal to double check everything.
If i will have any more information i will share with you guys. Be careful !

I requested a manual order out of curiosity and this is the reply i got within 1 hour.

Dear ---
Thank you for your interest in our products.

Pre-orders are processed manually while we are performing the final steps of the automated payment system on the website. Although understandably less convenient than a direct order on the website, we thank you for taking the time and effort to contact us to proceed with a manual order. Be assured that your effort will be rewarded. Manual orders will be placed in the first shipping batch so you can receive your unit among the first to be delivered.

To complete the order manually, we will need the following details;

Full name and address (including street number and name, zip code and country) for shipping. The e-mail address you would like to use for your account with us, and payment method (Bitcoins, or Wired Bank Transfer).

I took the liberty of creating a Bitcoin payment address in advance for your order to speed up the process and guarantee you an advanced place in the shipping queue. The prices are adjusted to the actual BTC market price. Would you chose to proceed through Bitcoin payment, you can go ahead and make payment using the following details;

Bitcoin payment address: 1D5rmjt44KdzZsuEAV6KBudyv9LURfTJpY
Synapse Terra-1 (3TH/s, 1 Blade): $ 9999.99 USD
International Flat Rate Shipping: $ 75.00 USD
Total (includes sales taxes): $ 10074.99 USD
Bitcoin market value: 741 USD/BTC  (Mt.Gox)
Total to be sent: 13.3964777 BTC

Once proceeded, it is important for you to contact us to provide the shipping information so we can put them on file as we confirm your payment.

If you wish to proceed through wired bank transfer, please advise us as you provide your shipping details. We will provide you with the transfer information to complete your payment. Bank transfer payments require up to 7 business days to confirm, depending on your bank’s policies and the origin country.

Again, thank you for your interest.
Looking forward to do business with you.

Kind regards
C. Desjardins, Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

Well, that is quite some necro, there. You might have been better off to leave the old thread dead, and start a new ANN thread.

Anyhow. So you registered the domain in Dec 17, and it looks like you want to be a cloudmining company.

I have some issues.

Free 0.2 BTC contract upon signup - who pays for this?

Payment of 0.01 BTC per referred account - what, a flat rate? What if they buy nothing? Who's paying for THAT?

Thirdly, the testemonials.....really? This is clickbait 101 shit right here.

Scam most likely, folks, smell of ponzi off it. Up to yourselves of course, but maybe sit back and think a minute about how this thing keeps going if you don't use your credit card. Who is paying who?

I laughed when I saw the post's history of this person trying hard to spread the coreminer.com with tens or even hundreds of posts in a day, and in his profile he got 4 negative beliefs Grin
