Hey,

I JUST HAVE TO GET A CARD in the NEXT 12 HOURS !!

From what I have read R9 280x is just a modified version of 7970 .

So R9 280x costs extra too . Should I opt for a 7970 or a R9 280x ?

Any reason to opt for one or the other ... seeing around seems like the hashrate looks somewhat the same (correct me if I am wrong).

Anybody who has experience or knows some technical details about hese cards ?

Regards

Yes, R9 280X is the modified version of 7970. But price wise R9 280X is much cheaper than 7970. So I would suggest go for R9 280X.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Any specific version of R9 280x that I should get ?

I am getting the plain Sapphire R9 280x .... does that model have any drawbacks or cause any problems ?

The msi version of the r9 280x is better than the sapphire (slightly) but costs around 2-3k more.

Any reasons for this ? Better Hash rate / better cooling/ lower power consumption?
