Bitcoin Meetup in Guangzhou

Hey Guys,

Currently in Hainan and am heading over to Guangzhou tomorrow for 3 weeks, and wondering if there is any regular bitcoin meetups happening here.

If not, I'm keen to organise a casual catchup with local bitcoiners, preferably at a bitcoin accepting venue .

Sure, I'm an Australian Born Chinese based in Melbourne, where work for me consists of running a digital agency and dabble in a number of start-ups.

My involvement in Bitcoins thus far have been mostly conducting arbitrage between exchanges, and have consistently netted +5 to +10% return on a weekly basis, regardless of the overall swings in bitcoin value due to speculation.

I'm fluent in mandarin and am keen to check out the Bitcoin scene here in China.

The risk I'm taking when conducting arbitrage is having money stored in exchanges, though each arbitrage trade I do is profitable as I determine when and if I want to take the spread. I have a track record, and am more than happy to demonstrate this.

Anyways, The purpose of my thread was always to catch up with Bitcoiners whilst I'm in Guangzhou over the next 3 weeks, if you've had no intentions to catch up, then I suggest you leave my thread alone.

Unfortunately I'm not in the Shenzhen area in the foreseeable future, as I'll be returning to Melbourne, Australia, after my 3 week stay over Christmas. Is there a big Bitcoin Community in Shenzhen?
