if you are in profit already then spread your sell order so that you earn without any risk .
also day to sell depend on price fluctuation , if it is overbought then sell it , if it is still stable then do wait for some days . but always sell before news .

Do you price bump is happening because of the news has been spreaded everywhere. I do not believe it mate. None of the potential and good news about crypto currency hasn't come on the same day on local news channel but fake and negative seems spreading very fast than anything. So whales targeting to the crypto currency one and pull them down like how they are doing on share market investment. Finally once the coin value dumped then they come with the big purchase for them alone on any exchanges. This is only happening for the past few months mate. |

It depends upon the situation. Some coins could pump for some more time after the news so need to do staggered sells; some before the news and some at and after it. No easy way to perfectly time the top.

Sell during the pump, from my experience it's usually 1 day or 2 day before the news announcement. Don't be a fanboy and hold a coin for a really long period of time, taking profit is always a good thing
We do have the same observations which it is usually 1-2 days before.Ive been catching up this thing too when i was just starting on where pumps do usually happen before days but there are times that price doesnt really react on upcoming news in the market. Selling is indeed a good thing yet we can always buyback when the price tends to go down because of the news and at the same time on the profit taking of investors or traders. |

Buy the rumor sell the news is the saying. It means buy when there is a buzz about the coin and sell when solid information comes out. If you look at the track record of Crypto this has usually been the case. People will hype up a coin and projects will announce MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT COMING SOON and so on. When the news hits it's rarely as big as people were thinking and they dump. |

Depend on what news are you selling,if thats a fake news or negativity better never sell that and let it on your life forever lol..but if thats a goow news and will bring positive outcomes well tell me how much and i will it right awar lol. Sel the news the day it was release so freshness will be on every buyer. |

It's quite difficult to catch the exact moment, but usually news comes after a coin pump. Short-term trading is very risky, but it can give a small profit in a short time. |

A usual strategy right now since the news are really making a big impact in cryptoworld. I don't sell my coins even if I read some negative news about it because I know it can survive and go even high in long term. Traders usually do sell on the day of the said news. Negative news may not work every time for bitcoin but it works almost for every other altcoin. News of scam teams if verified to be true for altcoin, i will just pull out immedialtely. |

Sell the news usually works but it is not something that you say for certain. It certainly was the case with verge which got pumped with some partnership news then got dumped on the announcement day, possibly because they didn't like pornohub as the partner, or just selling the news
