We Canadians are in a real pickle! The only AM dealer for Canada is gouging on price - 2 BTC direct for Cubes, or hawking them on eBay for max profit (across all territories I might add).

I see amazing group buys that are US only, and quite frankly I will not pay double or more the going rate simply because I am in Canada.

Feeling slighted Sad

Any suggestions?

Cheers

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

It looks like it is 64 usd to ship from usa with 300 usd  insurance.   The  last time I shipped to Can was  with the us post office and if value was under 500 usd they were pretty forgiving.

I would think listing it as pc parts  for under 499 usd price  would be legal and work  for customs.

the other day btc was 641 usd .  The usa group buy price is .75btc  .  So 641 x .75 =   481 that could be a true value customs number to declare.  call it pc parts.

If sidehack wants to help you  it works for me.

 Best regards phil

It has been 3 years since I shipped to CAN. So I am not sure on the customs.

possible or a bit   more specific  like " pc parts for ethernet operations/calculations "
more important  is the price declared  which is in the 450-500 dollar range at 640 btc and .75btc price of  silentsonicboom's current sale.  I no longer ship to Canada  with ebay as the ebay/paypal rules suck for selling overseas.   If I sent something to Canada It would be near to the real value declared  and I would only take btc.
