The world is currently controlled by the CONTROLLERS (Central Banks) who sit at the center of money. Because money is power.
The world is changed by the CHANGERS who bring new ideas that impact the world to life.

With BTC the CHANGERS have changed money. Money no longer requires a center to function. Therefore the CONTROLLERS may lose their power.

Who will win? Central Banks or BTC?

Despite their tremendous resources, the Central Banks are 'controllers' not 'changers' so they lack the ability to adapt. 'Controllers' only possess the ability to implement more and more controls, so it is a guarantee that is what we will see them do.  Conversely BTC & related developments is made up of a strong, smart global network of 'changers'. So ironically any attempts to stifle BTC through controls will only help it to adapt and evolve (even into an improved successor) faster.

IMO it is an evolutionary certainty that thanks to BTC the future now belongs to the CHANGERS (people who bring new impactful ideas to life in any field) not the CONTROLLERS. So the first large country that adopts BTC and in so doing attracts more changers will be by definition the country that will have the most prosperous future.

For governments to willingly use bitcoins, they'd have to forego their ability to print money. Who would do that?

Goverments can mine much more than people; also, can break the chain. DO you think that NASA can go to Mars but can not break a 256 SHA security?

The worst enemy of Bitcoin is Mt.Gox exchange.

changers become controllers

+ there are a lot of errors in logic here. but i get what your trying to say.

but the electric car wasnt invented by tesla... so there is some factors we dont think about.

that can delay or even prevent the future from occurring asap.

I doubt Controllers will willing forego control too. But thanks to evolution their fate is already sealed.

Once this truth becomes evident to them, then the game theory optimal solution becomes trying to get behind BTC first.

changers become controllers

Controllers can stay in control unless their means of control is changed. (Some central banking families have maintained massive control for 300+ years.)

so your saying bitcoin is a tool for change ?

this might be stupid or even very stupid, but i think the future of bitcoin is tied to the fate of piratebay.org

and their development of their ideological domain free web browser. its too easy right now, TOO EASY for the controllers

to turn this bitcoin thing into a foxhunt.
