Hello, I hope I am not doing anything wrong by making this post, but since I am new to bitcoin I must post here. I am looking to invest in bitcoin however I don't want to have any real money involved until I am more comfortable with it. The only thing I have to offer is an account from an MMORPG called Runescape. I haven't played the game in forever, and it seemed like there was some possible interest in general in the internet for trading online game accounts for bitcoins. I do not know what the secure way of doing this is, but if it is a hassle, I don't really mind as these bitcoins interest me and I don't care much about the account. The account has a pretty decent character on it with a lot of items. However it is not a member account. Does anyone have any interest in this type of thing?

The best way to get involved with no or little "real" money is to mine your own coins or offer your stuff up for trade.

That is what I am doing. I am offering my account for trade, however I do not know if anyone is interested in this type of thing, and if so, is there a better place to post it than here? Or am I at the right place?

You may also want to consider selling some physical items for BTC.  There are a couple of classifieds and bidding sites.  Old computer equipment, etc.

You won't get very far mining with old computer equipment... even my 1 year old PC isn't good enough for mining.
