The first rule of Default Trust is to not talk about Default Trust. The second rule of Default Trust is to not talk about Default Trust! Anyway I think the answer is to give people honest and fair feedback ratings, but that is just a guess. Lol I've read about default trust having a depth of 2 or so, meaning that if you add me to your trust list then I will be "on" default trust. But is there another way?

Here's the real question:
Why do you want to be on default trust? or... why do you care so much?

If you're on default trust your trust actually counts. If not, my ratings don't really mean much to others. It would be nice if there was a system in which if you have had 5 or more successful trades you could get on the list.

Then what if someone was to just make 5 accounts and leave themselves feedback? Your feedback does count, anyone who is doing a deal with someone is going to check their untrusted feedback as well, and check out the details before doing the trade. Just because untrusted feedback doesn't effect the little number next to your name, doesn't mean it doesn't count.

I guess it might be better if 5 people on default trust added trust to you, to get onto the list. Untrusted has a negative connotation so some people just look at trusted.

But I leave trust, and don't do trades with people (because I hoard my BTC).

I guess the only way to get on the list is to have someone already on the list add you to their list.
