I am shopping for a professional digital media artist to create a logo and associated matching graphics for a new online entity. Paying appropriate market rates in btc, ltc, or USD. Please PM me with your portfolio if interested.

a. Please don't turn this thread into a showcase of your work or submit ideas through here. If you're good at what you do, you should never do it for free. I am tired of seeing the members here fall for the 'logo contest' scams that are popping up frequently.

b. Please use common sense when evaluating your work. I want professional and unique work. If your greatest accomplishment is tossing some clipart poultry on a cafepress tshirt with the words 'ARISE CHIKUN' on it, you would just be wasting your time replying to this.

c. I am a no nonsense kind of guy. I reward good , hard work. If you know your shit and can prove it, i will pay you above your normal rate and i will make this a lasting relationship.

I like this guy.

This is how any design work should be treated in general.

Exactly. No shitty designs by amateurs who are just looking for easy money. This forum has a few talented designers and I'm sure you will find one!

Thanks man. I notice we live pretty close to each other as well (Treasure Coast myself). Pm me if you're interested in collaborating on some ideas. The more local talent the better.

So true. If you want quality work, a design contest is not how you get it. That said, there are plenty of cheapskates willing to settle for second rate work, and plenty of amateur designers to satisfy their needs. Let 'em have their fun I say.

caskal has some truly good looking work, I was very impressed with his portfolio. Hopefully he drops you a line. c:

Well I know my way around in PS so I PM'd you. Even if those Logo contest are fake it's still a good way to improve your skill.

Although I am held up with RL at the moment and won't contact you, I just wanted to say this: Thank you so much for making a no-nonsense topic asking for a design, the right way.
There've been too many crazy 'contests' lately.

I work on web development, but I also do some graphic design and I don't see those "logo contest" as scams.
I mean, it really doesn't hurt a lot to spend some time on it and if you don't get it, at least you have something else for your portfolio and gain practice.
I have a couple of logos in my deviantart if interested.

I found and hired someone, thank you to everyone who PM'd me. One suggestion, though. If you're responding to a logo design job, send examples of the logos you have done. Some of you are clearly talented artists, but i wasn't looking for a maya or poser render, i was looking for logo work (which requires a keen eye and specific skillset). Those that didn't submit actual logo examples did themselves a disservice.
