I am a hobby designer, these are my first designs and I do them in my spare time.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating them!  While I do the designs personally I do not manufacture the rings myself. Shapeways is set up for designers to be able to use their platform to retail products.  I thought this was smart so I can focus on designing and not manufacturing.  It also opens up additional payment options.

USD payments are handled through Shapeways I have a shop set up on their site and you can see my designs, available material options, sizes and prices.  Crypto payments can be negotiated through me.

I did a little search around on the site but still cant find the info - Any idea how much this ring weighs?
Just curious how much of the $800 is actually gold...

Would it be possible to do a custom finish?
I'm thinking a brushed but with the BTC backdrop being polished - to make that BTC symbol pop out nicely.

I'd be willing to pay extra for my perfect ring

Thanks for the comments!  Unfortunately I don't have any control on manufacturing I am tied what the manufacture has on offer.  I have full control on design but no customizing control on manufacturing.

I was looking for a weight on the rings as well and I couldn't find any information on the back end shop page and the ordering page I have access too.  There is obviously margin for me and the manufacture but I can't say specifically what percentage of the retail cost is raw gold cost.

Hmm I was looking for a paw circumference ring tool for you but google let me down again and didn't provide any solid hits, you're on your own for that one  

On a side note, for the Viacoin fans I have a signet with the Viacoin logo on it almost done.  I hope to have it uploaded in the shop and renders here tonight.

Also I am thinking an Etherium signet is coming soon.

Production is complete of the very first BTC Signets.  I received a tracking number today for the first prototypes!!!

I have an 18k gold plated and a Fine detail polished silver BTC Signet on the way to me!!!  I don't expect it to take too long and will post the pics soon!

I placed my order on May 6th so 10 days to produce a 100% unique ring seems quite reasonable to me.  Hopefully only a couple days in the mail and I would have my order in about 2 weeks from ordering!  Now lets hope the quality is good!!!

I also ordered a BTC Bull & Bear a day later so hopefully that piece isn't to far behind this one!

I'm very pleased with the quality of the prototypes!  Both the .925 high polished silver and gold plated are extremely shiny and smooth and are very reflective!  I think customers will be very happy with the quality of the rings!

I have more prototypes, pictures and designs to come!!  I will also be updating the shop with actual photos over the next couple of days as time permits!

As I said previously, I have an eye for the more minimalist designs, and so that leaves me really having a liking for two of the designs in particular. Simple and Elegant, plus the regular BTC Signet are going to be my first purchases. Don't sell out on me.

Hey Bill, thanks for the kind words, glad you like them!!  No need to worry about selling out mate stock is essentially unlimited, so no rush on ordering!!!

I've been a little busy IRL the last week or so and haven't had a chance to do anymore designs but I am still planning on doing more when time permits!  I have quite a few ideas in my brain just not enough time to get them all digitized LOL!!

I have a prototype of the LTC signet sitting on my desk, and a couple of the miner signets en route to me as well.  The wife has a new DSLR and light box on the way as well so I can hopefully get some nice new product shots for you guys.  I think the rings look much better IRL than the photos here so I will definitely be trying to improve the product shots in the coming days and weeks!

I am actually extremely happy with the quality of the rings.  The polishing and finish on the plated and high polish .925 silver rings I have look extremely professional IMO. 

I haven't ordered a 14 or 18ct gold ring yet, I am waiting to see the miner signet and then I will decide if I like the BTC signet or the miner signet more, then I will probably get a gold prototype made for me to wear!!!

Lastly if anyone has anything they would like to see on a design please fire away and I will do my best to accommodate!
