Hi all. I have a complete noob question. I am seeinglots of people posting in giveaway threads with address's that are not on cryptsy (ie memorycoin, and up till recently doge coin). My question is, where were people getting these address from ?

Also a second question, what other exchanges are there ? I know and use crypsty , bter and Crypto-trade.

Thanks in advance

You have to install qt client for every altcoin not listed at cryptsy if you want address for the giveaway
But use virtual box for your main OS safety

Download the coin's wallet client and it will generate an address for you.
