I'm going to have to agree.  At this point with difficulty being 245 and rising it's really only worth it if you planning on using a GPU. 

I'm mining with a 3 1/2 year old ATI HD5770 and am turning out about 170-180 KH/s on average if that gives you an idea on what to expect from mining.

Hodlor, a Macbook pro can give almost 1 MHash/s at full capacity while you will need at least some Ghash/s in the future. See you next year.
