Hi, I want to deposit some money to bitstamp.net.
I live in the UK, and all the money in bank account is in GBP. (£)
Bitstamp offers several methods for transfer, but I'm not sure which to choose.
One option is international bank wire transfer. This option is quite simple and I understand how it works. However, as it involves me tranferring funds abroad it will end up costing me at least £23 in fees, and Since I'm only looking to deposit somewhere under a £100, that doesn't sound great.
Now, the other option given on bitstamp is SEPA (EU Bank). According to bitstamp, I live inside the SEPA zone, so I should be able to make a transfer using this method, with less fees.
However, my bank account is with danske bank, and when I log into online bank and click to transfer, it doesn't mention SEPA anywhere. It gives me 2 options:
-Transfer funds. This is for transfers within the UK and there are no fees.
-Tranfer funds abroad. This is for worldwide tranfers. However, there are fees, and you can click whether the payee or reciever pays the fees.
So what do I do?
First of all, do I select "SEPA", or "International Wire Transfer"?
And then, on ebanking, do I "Transfer funds" or do I "Transfer funds Abroad"?
