hello,

i want to buy up to 1000btc. i planned to do this on mtgox.com, but right now this doesnt seem to be a very safe choice and the fees add up, too. so i choose to do this directly.

you can make offers here, pm me or ask for my jabber account.
since i will use bank transfer from an EUR account to pay, offers in EUR are prefered.
also, as long as dont have to pay fees for currency conversion, we can split the deal into smaller chunks.
the whole 1000btc or similar amounts up front in just one transaction is possible only if i deem you to be very trustworthy.

i am in no hurry, so i will wait at least a day or two for offers to come in and evaluate them.

I'm also looking to buy BTC for EUR or GBP bank transfer. I'm paying a couple of percent above MtGox rates. Send me a PM if interested.

Why not use bitcoin-central?

do you trade there? i mean do you know the details of trading there?
to open orders it requires you to have funded account there.
this means that the exchange operator's private bank account experiences cash flow thant might ring some bells.

the service is close to perfect. but more like live demo of the technology
than a marketplace of choice.

maybe if we would form a coop to obfuscate a bit the transfers in/out not to call the wrath of authorities upon davout ...
he already asked for help to handle bank wirements. without crediting an account by either transfer or cash in mail
you are not allowed to trade there.
same for bitcoins. you must send them in (to your BC account) to create a sell order.

You can't build a reputation on what you are going to do.

if someone is interested in trading with me:

my (limited time) offer: 0.65 EUR/BTC (bank wire or PayPal) or 0.895 USD/BTC (PayPal only)
max volume 1000 BTC

paying paypal requires a certain trust level.

contact: post here or pm me.

Taken.

hello,

i want to buy up to 1000btc.

hi,

try also IRC / bitcoin-otc.com - can check the trust score of sellers
talk to people, might be a good idea to buy 10 x 100 btc from different people
lower risk + more good impressions : )

I have several hundred BTC that, assuming we can agree on a price, I am willing to sell for Euros.

Given this, how should this be done? I do not know that I can trust you to send the money - you do not know that you can trust me to send the BTC.

Any suggestions?

Trade with someone who has already proven that he is a honest business man and send the btc first.

btw: new offer for you: selling 1000 BTC for 750 EUR or 1040 USD.

I have several hundred BTC that, assuming we can agree on a price, I am willing to sell for Euros, and my wife has a Euro account to which the money could be sent.

Given this, how should this be done? I do not know that I can trust you to send the money - you do not know that you can trust me to send the BTC.

I offer to buy your bitcoins for €0.67 each. Let me know if you're interested.

You would need to send the coins first, but as you can see from the forum's List of honest traders I have had many successful trades.
