Where at, in Indonesia? Not being snoopy, just curious if it's a place I know. I was there in '83 for a while.

a quick question: is the general press (no the tech / specialist press but the main news channels) starting to write/talk about Bitcoins in your country ?

Welcome to bitcointalk my Indonesian friend! How did you find about Bitcoin what do you like about it:D

Ask any question you have about anything especially bitcoin and it will most likely be answered here on this forum

due to the amount of smart members we have here, but be careful people are also scammers here and trolls.

The average person has no clue about bitcoins, this makes us very very special dont forget this:)

Oh, no, don't know Palembang City... All I really remember were Jakarta, Jojakarta, Bali and that city where Borobudur(?) was. And of course Budiarto Airfield, where we were stationed. Anyway, glad to see you on the forum!

Hi all, I chose this post to interject because I too am new and also in Indonesia. Although I am not Indonesian, I am British and have lived here for 10 years. I am a retired English teacher and every couple of months transfer my pension from the UK to here, but it is a very costly process and I was wondering if I could use bitcoin..if I ever figure out how to that is...to transfer money. One of my main concerns is whether Indonesian banks or whoever makes the exchange will accept bitcoin. So I would be very grateful for any advice you may have, especially from anyone who has already adopted the process of exchanging money here.  Many thanks
