I've been mining PTS. Although I've only mined two types (YAC and PTS), I have to say PTS is better. Just my opinion. I think there are a lot more to mine but I can't GPU mine because my graphics card sucks, so I'm limited to CPU Sad

PTS has been paying poorly this past week on beers. I was switching between PTS and XPM back then.

You could check this article to know more about the altcoins. http://bitcoinmagazine.com/9000/overview-altcoin-market/
And probably try multiple coin pools, like https://www.multipool.us/

I personally like Doge coin as it's easy to mine right now. It recently spiked in difficulty though, so if you don't have a good graphics card, you're kinda boned.

I'd say PTS but LTC isn't bad. BTC isn't worth mining unless you're in a good mining pool IMO.

Yeah, I think Dogecoin is doing well. I only found out about it when I landed on the meme a few days ago and thought the "dogecoin" donation address at the bottom of the page was a joke: http://plspetdoge.com/ Then suddenly it was all over the internet.
