I'm interested in mining "new" coins (dogecoin, casinocoin, etc), but for some reason the Hashrate indicated in the pools are way lower than in the GUIminer or CGminer, and the amount of coins earned are lower.
I have an ATI7950 that should mine at around 700KH/s (on Scrypt) and in GUIminer I get that but when I compare it to the dashboard in the pools I have either:

- Lower hashrate indicated in the dashboard, and it mines less coins than expected from a mining calculator. Now I was trying to mine DogeCoins, in the beginning I mined 400 coins (and a very low hashrate, but in 30min) and suddenly it stopped (and indicated 0 Hashrate on the dashboard of the pool).

- Expected Hashrate and lower coins generated than expected. I tried mining casinocoins, the hashrate was correct but I mined between half and a third of the expected coins.

When I mine LTC that doesn't really happen. I don't really know how it works, but could it be possible that it happens because there are not enough transactions so there are not enough blocks to mine?

Thank you
Wongi

Maybe you joined an overloaded pool. Look if your miner has many disconnects.
Particularly dogecoinpools are overcrowded now.
Moreover a pool doesn't know your exact hashrate but expects it according to your submitted shares.
And dont forget the variance (pool luck)

Blocks can be found empty, has nothing to do with a lack of transactions.

Are the coins you are mining random block reward coins, like doge?

Not all 7950's can hit 700kh/s, in fact most can't maintain a stable hash like that. I'd bet you are configured wrong and making a bunch of useless shares, or you are mining alright on a random reward coin expecting the results to not show variance.

Please DO NOT send me private messages asking for help setting up GPU miners. I will not respond!!!

Thank you for the responses!

Wongi: How do you look if the miner has many disconnects? Is it something like "0 shares detected".

Pontiacg5: I was trying to mine coins like DOGEcoin or CASINOcoin. My graphics card is the Gigabyte 7950, GV-R795WF3-3GD and in "https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison" it states 729KH/s so I expect it to go above 650KH/s at the least. I use the default setting of GUIminer for 7950 at high usage that is:
Thread concurrency: 21712
Worksize: 256
Intensity: 20
Vectors: 1
GPU threads 2

The pool says I'm getting 150 KH/s when I should get 650KH/s at least. The pool I'm mining is DOGEhouse, but I have tried 5 others all with similar or worse results...

My PC physical location is in Spain (Europe)

@muchogas try another pool since you noticed a problem with that.
